This workshop will help with the basics of setting up a brand new WordPress blog on a self-hosted site (not a WordPress.com site). We’ll show you how to begin posting documents, changing the look and feel of your site with themes, and making your site as safe and secure as it can be.

    • admin username for login – don’t ever use it
    • passwords – longer=better

    • Disable code editor – (this requires editing wp-config.php)
